Powerful Pictures of Slush – This Is Why The Startup Scene of The World Gathers in Helsinki This Week

The famous startup and tech event Slush is organized in Helsinki on November 30–December 1. The annual event brings together startups, venture capitalists and tech enthusiasts as well as journalists in the Messukeskus exhibition center for two action-packed days.

Slush is known for its hectic pitching contest and product launches but the heart of the event are the high-profile keynote speakers and business leaders sharing their expertise and thoughts on entrepreneurship of the startup era.

The organization of Slush describes themselves as “student-driven, non-profit movement originally founded to change attitudes toward entrepreneurship”, and the event is actually put together by a group of entrepreneurs, investors, students, and festival organizers.

“For entrepreneurs by entrepreneurs”, as they phrase it.

The Technology Media team will be attending Slush this year as media representatives, filming the course of the event so stay tuned for our upcoming report!
